local partnerships

The McLoughlin Gardens Creative Residency has come into being through the collaboration of several local organizations, including the Comox Valley Regional District, the Comox Valley Land Trust, the Comox Valley Art Gallery, the Comox Valley Writers Society and the McLoughlin Gardens Society. North Island College has generously offered studio space to visiting artists, and has organized venues for lectures and workshops. The Vancouver Island Regional Library has also provided workshop space for visiting poet and writer Anne Simpson.
